If you choose virtual therapy, you will receive a link to a HIPAA-compliant video platform 24 hours before your first appointment. Please log on 5 minutes early to your first session to complete the set up process.
Do you see children or teenagers?
Yes! Our therapist, Brianna, sees ages 0 and up, and uses a method called Child-Parent Psychotherapy that’s effective for very young kids.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that appointment’s be scheduled no later than 24 hours before the appointment. If it is cancelled within 24 hours we do charge full fee for the late cancellation.
Why does therapy take so long?
If you’re looking for a shorter type of therapy, we offer fast trauma recovery, also called accelerated resolution therapy. It doesn’t have to take a long time to heal, although there are benefits to being in therapy over time, including the healing nature of a continued therapeutic relationship, the ability for your therapist to understand you completely and adjust your care, and bringing new levels of healing and discovery into session.
Why does therapy cost so much?
Most therapists have over 12 years of education and training specifically in their craft, and pay for office space, continued training, marketing, and more. Think of a therapist like a primary care doctor; often we have the same years of training. You are paying for a high level specialist in mental health. However, we do offer low cost therapy if needed. Btw, we would love therapy to be free as well. Maybe in the future we can have systems that work for all.
Why should I choose you?
Because we care, and are highly qualified social workers who specialize in a unique range of therapies. We can, and will, help you. If we resonate with you and you land on us, we are honored to walk the path with you.
