Our approach to anxiety & depression
We understand that depression and anxiety are two wildly different experiences. However, we also know that many times, these two experiences can exist at the same time. Maybe one “causes” the other, maybe you had one for so long, the other developed as a coping tactic, or maybe you cycle from one to the other depending on what life is putting on you.
You may also truly just have one or the other, and at times feel these symptoms so intensely that it feels like nothing else exists.
Whether you feel like you juggle both or you experience one to your very core, our approach remains the same: evidence-based, compassionate, and unique to you. We work with you to understand where the root of these experiences came from, their “missions” to protect you, and explore ways to work with these feelings to shift them instead of shoving them to the back and moving onto the next thought that is hopefully a little more positive.
While we can’t guarantee that you’ll never experience anxiety or depression again, or run into events that trigger them, we can say that you’ll have a much deeper understanding of these experiences, how to shift them a little faster, grow your self confidence, and overall get more of your life back.
