Therapy for Postpartum Depression

Postpartum Depression appears as anxiety, depression, sadness, exhaustion, and thoughts of self harm or harm of others that doesn’t dissipate or lesson over time.

Postpartum Depression affects 1 in 9 women. It is different from postpartum psychosis, which affects 1 in 1000 women and is experienced through hallucinations and delusions.

Because postpartum depression is so common, we want to start by saying that what you are feeling is common among women after giving birth. So you’re not alone.

I’m here to help you navigate this tender and hard transition in your life, to honor it as an initiation, to help you create meaning and worth around it, and to just be here for you as you go through one of the hardest parts of parenting and life.

You’re not alone!
